A web designer introduced me to Shop-Script about three years ago. Started using it as a web store for selling our ink and toner cartridges. About a year later, we were looking to upgrade and redesign — our goal was to create something new: a Wordpress Shopping Cart. The existing Wordpress cart plugins had too much room for improvement not to mention a huge lack of security and functionality. Being from Montreal, Canada, I wanted to find a way to use our existing payment processor (PSiGate) and charge two types of taxes — with different rates for different Canadian provinces. Google checkout was not an option and Canadians aren't as in love with PayPal as other countries. WebAsyst to the rescue!

After about two months, I found that WebAsyst, the new and improved AJAX'd version of Shop-Script could do exactly what I had in mind. XCart was the other software I was considering but price, functionality and my previous shop script experience made the decision a no-brainer. As far as being able to integrate it with Wordpress, I wasn't entirely sure I could make it happen… but my research said that WebAsyst (and its widget feature) was my best chance.

After about 4 months of testing and coding, I produced http://micrtonerworld.com a Wordpress Shopping Cart that sells MICR toner cartridges for secure check printing. My goal was to integrate Wordpress (for the SEO benefits and the ease of uploading fresh content) and the most powerful shopping cart I could find — WEBASYST! Released in April of 2009, MTW climbed to the top of Google in just 4 months and has been sitting pretty ever since. Type 'micr toner' into a search engine and look for micrtonerworld.com or micrtoner.ca. We finally beat the former #1 micr site which belongs to our competitors.

WebAsyst makes our lives a whole lot easier. Processing and modifying orders and complete control over payment and shipping gives us the functionality we need to sell products in North America and in Europe. The ability to export orders and customer data means accounting takes seconds instead of hours. Huge benefit. Importing through CSV files lets us use common MySQL tables so keeping products and content up to date is a pleasure. A completely editable AJAX-based front and back-end interface? Can't ask for more than that! Don't forget about the unlimited support and quick responses.

Without Shop-Script and WebAsyst, we could never have released our uniquely-integrated Wordpress Shopping Cart with thousands of pages and products. Thanks to the many powerful and customizable functions, this software saves us hours of work per month. Thanks WebAsyst.

I run a web development business, and have utilized the WebAsyst Shop Script for my eCommerce websites. I direct my web clients to WebAsyst software wherever possible. Since there is usually a "communication gap" where the client does not understand software, licensing (sometimes not even the hosting requirements), so my opinions, consultation an decision making is often critical in their success.

I have found Shop-Script to provide every need and feature that clients typically ask for and need to run an online shop. It also has an incredibly user-friendly interface, and I've seen other carts - this is a joy to use. I've also looked into the other WebAsyst software packages, and am considering the project manager, Issue Tracker and Photo apps.

I have purchased the Shop-Script for up to 8 clients so far. It is mostly for other clients, not for myself, but I am the reseller. I am a one-man freelancer, and love it that way! I utilize great software like this, and set it up for my clients.

There are many standard website features emerging, and clients expect to have a packaged solution. Web developers (like myself) need a fast installation/configuration as well. Many of the WebAsyst apps provide this and are a great solution. I like the ease of installation, the smart interfaces, and all the well thought-out features.

I love how Files is so easy to use and easy to organize. Like how you can give different access to different groups and certain people. This (the Files part) is the best part of the whole program for us!
