Real-time quotes with USPS

WebAsyst Shop-Script is integrated with USPS WebTools (Rate Calculator API). To enable USPS real-time shipping quotes, you need to sign up for a USPS WebTools account at https://secure.shippingapis.com/registration/.

After registration you will receive an email confirmation with your ID and a password. Those ID and password will be available only for testing. All integration development and testing have already been performed by WebAsyst, so you should skip this testing phase. Reply to the message from USPS indicating you want to go live, for instance as provided below:

"Please enable my store for production ASAP. We are using a platform that has already tested the API."

The USPS team (usually within 24 hours) should send you a message that your account has been confirmed for use in the production mode.

Log in to your WebAsyst Shop-Script backend and add a USPS shipping option in section "Settings -> Shipping". Create a test order and try to complete the checkout as a regular customer. If the USPS module is set up correctly, USPS shipping rates should be displayed on the shipping options selection page in the storefront.
