When creating a hierarchy of nested folders in WebAsyst Files it is important to ensure that their permissions allow efficient handling of their contents by the account users. By default permissions of each newly created subfolder are equal to those of the parent folder.
Should access rights to the parent folder change in the future, access rights to the nested folders will remain unchanged. To avoid this and ensure automating propagating of access rights to all subfolders, open the parent directory and select menu item "Actions with folder -> Customize access rights". On the page that opens enable option "Propagate these access rights to all subfolders where you have F (Folder) permissions", specify appropriate access rights if necessary and click on "Save".
Note: New access rights will be applied only to the folders where you have "F" (Folder) permissions.
