Thanks to the integration with WebAsyst Shop-Script, the Help Desk application displays information about the orders of the customer who has sent the request directly on the request-viewing page.
It may, however, happen that, with both applications installed, no orders are displayed even though your customer may be telling you that he or she has placed an order in your online store
.
This may be caused by one (or both) of the following reasons:
- The author of the request is indeed a customer of your online store but has sent a request from a different email address than the one which he/she specified in the web store placing an order. To ensure correct identification of the customer as such, ask him/her to sent requests from the same address which was used during shopping in your WebAsyst Shop-Script store.
- WebAsyst Shop-Script and WebAsyst Help Desk are installed at different URLs (though probably on the same server). For proper integration between these two applications, they must be installed at the same URL under a single license. No additional setup is required for such integration to work; information about customers' orders will be retrieved automatically and displayed in WebAsyst Help Desk.
