Use of email templates

If you often email similar messages to your customers or colleagues, you have to spend quite a little time typing the same text for each email. The amount of time spent on composing such standard emails might be rather significant, if the number of messages is very large.

Significant time economy can be achieved in such cases through the use of email templates. Just select the necessary template, make minor corrections, if necessary, and the email is ready to be sent to the recipient.

To create an email template with WebAsyst Mail, use menu item "Message... -> Compose new template". Enter the text that would be used in messages into the "Subject" field and the email body area, and click on "Save". The new template will be saved in the "Templates" folder:


In order to compose a new template-based email message, use menu item "Message... -> Compose from template". Click on the name of the template you had created before, and its contents will be automatically added to the new message. Select the recipients, make necessary corrections, and send the message by clicking on "Send".
