How can I ftp my files to the account?

Owners of the WebAsyst PHP scripts installed on a web hosting or own server have an option to upload files to their WebAsyst Files account via FTP. The FTP uploading feature is not available to users of online services. To upload files to your WebAsyst Files account using an FTP connection, the following is required:

  1. Create subdirectory ftp inside directory /data/DATABASE_KEY.
  2. Use an FTP client to upload your files to directory /data/DATABASE_KEY/ftp.
  3. Log in to your account and open the WebAsyst Files application. A folder named "FTP Folder" should appear in the folder list. By clicking on the folder name you can see the list of files previously uploaded via FTP.
  4. "FTP Folder" does not allow to manage files in the same manner as it is possible in ordinary folders. It is only supposed to be used for copying uploaded files to other folders. In order to copy files from the "FTP Folder" to any of other folders, select the necessary files, choose the destination folder from the drop-down list and click on "Copy".
Note: Copying entire directories from "FTP Folder" to other folders is not allowed, only files can be copied. Should you need to upload a certain hierarchy of files and subdirectories to your account, upload a ZIP archive with such a hierarchy and use function "Extract from ZIP" to unpack it.
