If you send over several image files via email, your recipients may find it inconvenient to download a large amount of data with an email client to read your message. This may happen if you email image files as attachments. In this case a recipient would need to wait until the entire message (including the attachments) is loaded into the email client before proceeding to reading it. If the speed of Internet connection is too low or the aggregate size of attached image files is very large, receiving such an email would be inconvenient.
In order to allow a person to read your email message regardless of the message size or the connection speed, it is recommended embedding images directly in the text instead of attaching them to a message.
Most email clients (e.g., Thunderbird, Outlook, The Bat!) do not display embedded images in received emails by default unless a user has changed this option in settings. To view such images, a recipient has to click on a button labeled "Display images" in an email client. After the button is clicked embedded images are downloaded from the mail server and appear in the message body.
Image files sent out as attachments are, on the contrary, retrieved from the server together with the textual contents of an email.
To embed an image in an email message using WebAsyst Mail, open the message composing page by clicking on the "Compose message" button.
Place the mouse cursor in the position where an image should be embedded and click on the "Upload image" button
in the text editor toolbar.
Click on the "Browse..." button and choose the necessary file. After you confirm the selection, the image file will be uploaded to the server and finally appear in the message body as shown in the picture:

After you finish composing your message and embed as many images as you need, send the message by clicking on the "Send" button.
