WebAsyst Shop-Script is a turnkey, out-of-the-box solution, ecommerce engine that allows you to establish a professionally looking online store. Unlike expensive custom ecommerce development or design services, we instead offer a platform for creating online stores. Shop-Script handles entire technical side of creating an online store, allowing you to organize your store as you wish.

Sorry, but we do not offer custom development services. We only offer out-of-the-box Shop-Script software (shopping cart engine) and 24/7 technical support on the software.
To create an online store, no programming and system administrative knowledge is necessary. Shop-Script software is installed in a few steps (see WebAsyst installation guide), storefront design can be customized right in your web browser (see how it works in our design editor video tutorial; 7 MB).
Shop-Script was designed to allow every non-techie to easily setup an online store without hiring third-party programmers and designers.
To purchase Shop-Script, place an online order. The product is delivered as a downloadable installation package. As soon as your payment is approved, we will create a dedicated account for you in our WebAsyst Customer Center, where you will be able to download the latest version of the software. We do not deliver software copies on hard media (CD/DVDs) because WebAsyst software is of convenient size for download (entire archive is 10—30 MB depending on the set of applications you purchase), and because we use to release software upgrades on a regular basis—downloading via Internet is much more efficient way to ship.
We accept credit card and PayPal payments. You will get your copy of WebAsyst software and a dedicated license number as soon as your payment is approved, which usually takes from a couple of minutes to an hour.
Sure. This is possible in every paid plan (not available in the free plan).
If you do not have a domain yet, you may get one inside your WebAsyst account: login to your_account.webasyst.net and click "Account" link.
If you already have a domain name, contact your domain registrar (or hosting provider) regarding domain forwarding service. They should update DNS records for your domain name by entering our server IP address: 72.55.148.182. After you do this, contact our support team and mention which domain name you would like to use with your storefront, and we will do the necessary setup.

Sure! You may purchase WebAsyst as PHP software at any time, and move data from your hosted account to your server. In order to export all data from your hosted account, send us an inquiry to get your data dump file. We will archive your account data and send it to you on demand. This service as available only to customers who purchased WebAsyst as PHP software.
These options are just different, you can not say one is better than the other. WebAsyst Shop-Script as PHP software is for merchants who want to have full control over online store — from backend access through browser to direct MySQL database access and source files. When you host Shop-Script on your web server, you have the full access to PHP sources, and this means you can customize software to meet your needs (do it yourself or hire a developer).
WebAsyst Shop-Script as a hosted service is for merchants who want to get there very own online store quickly.

Use built-in storefront design editor. Login to your store back end and click "Design" tab. Follow the instructions given inside design editor.

If you don't want to install software yourself, you may order paid software installation service. The price for the service is $50 per installation. The service includes installation of WebAsyst Shop-Script on your web server (or shared hosting). Design customizations are not included (we do not offer such services). Contact our customer support to order custom installation service.
To install WebAsyst on your web server, we will need access to the website where you wish to install WebAsyst Shop-Script. Please obtain the following information from your hosting provider and furnish to us: FTP, MySQL connection settings, and website URL.
We provide support by email on a 24/7 basis. Average time of a ticket being answered is about 1—1.5 hours.
