Payment gateways

WebAsyst Shop-Script handles all technical part of the integration with a payment gateway. This means that if you want to receive payments with a certain gateway you have to get an account with them first. Then you should enter account credentials in your WebAsyst Shop-Script backend settings, and you are ready to receive online payments. All financial operations are handled by payment gateways secure servers, not your web server. Shop-Script only transfers required data to the gateway.

All integrations are designed according to APIs offered by payment gateways listed below.

Modules that do not require PCI DSS certification

The following list of modules is included into the base Shop-Script distribution, and the use of these modules do not require you to certify your online store according to PCI DSS standard (what is it?), because sensitive credit card data is collected on the side of the payment gateway (payment provider).

Payment modules which will require your online store to be certified as a PCI DSS compliant web resource

Below are a set of payment modules for accepting credit cards in your Shop-Script based store, which have been removed from the base Shop-Script distribution due to compulsory certification of your online store according to PCI DSS rules (what is it?) in case you accept credit card payment using one of them. If you are about to use any of these modules, be aware that you will need to perform compulsory certification according to PCI DSS rules, because credit card data is collected on the side of your online store, and saved into store database by some of the modules.

None of these modules is available in the hosted version of Shop-Script.

All these modules are available for free download, and can be easily added into your Shop-Script software installation:

1. Download the file, and unarchive.
2. Copy the .php file in the archive to the folder published/SC/html/scripts/modules/payment/ inside your online store installation directory.
3. New payment gateway option will appear in your store backend's "Settings" —> "Payment" —> "Add payment type" —> "Accept credit cards". Install, configure, and use.
